| The farewell was hard, but thanks to the strength
we got with that great breakfast we were able to survive it and started
our way to the airport. Our journey lead us through the city which was a
chaotic but we got there!

jetzt sicher, was wir beim Flughafen wollten, oder? Naja - fliegen
wollten wir nicht! Der Camper brauchte ein Service und die Werkstatt war
ganz in der Nähe vom Flughafen. Und während Caro fachmännisch die
Mechaniker überwachte, haben Catherine und Isabelle einen netten,
Flughafen-nahen 10 km Walk namens Gellibrand Hill-Walk. gemacht.
And now you want to know why we went to the
Airport, don't you? Because - we didn't want to fly! The camper needed a
service and the mechanic was very near to the airport. While Caro
professionaly controlled the mechanics, Catherine and Isabelle did a
very nice 10 km-walk near the airport, which is called "Gellibrand-Hill-Walk".

auch sie das Weite gesucht, als wir näher kamen.

| Diese Känguru-Rasse
heißt "eastern grey kangaroo" (Macropus giganteus). Ein
ausgewachsenes Männchen ist bis zu 2 m hoch und 2,4 m lang.
This Kangaroo-Breed is called the "eastern
grey kangaroo" (Macropus giganteus). A fully grown male can stand
2 m high and measure 2,4 m in length. |

Der Blick auf Melbourne war gar nicht so schlecht, bedenkt man die doch
relativ geringe Höhe des Gellibrand Hill von ca. 200 m.

Dieses Insekt ist mitten auf unserem Weg gesessen. Gefährlicher Platz,
denn weil es aussieht wie ein Blatt, hätten wir es fast übersehen und
wären fast draufgestiegen. Scheint ein Heuschreck zu sein... Right: This insect sat in the
middle of the track. That was a dangerous place! We nearly stepped on it
because it looked like a leaf. Seems to be a locust... |

| Auch
die Sicht zum Flughafen war gar nicht schlecht, Foto war sie aber keines
wert. Denn Flughäfen sehen wir eh alle genug momentan... Alles in allem
war das ein netter, empfehlenswerter Halbtages-Walk.
The view to the Airport was nice as well, but it
wasn't worth a photo. We see more than enough airports these days...All
in all it was a nice, recommendable half-day walk.
